Goals of Organizing Genesis

Bereishit strives to build and strengthen the Israeli-Jewish-American community through various programs and activities. The organization operates on the basis of an educational infrastructure that enables the connection of the next generation to the State of Israel and the Jewish world. A Genesis organization is created from the community for the community, where the value of volunteering and giving is the executive fuel that sustains the organization.

Genesis is a non-profit organization in status (501c3).

Community events

As part of the Genesis Holidays program, students are taught and celebrated in a class setting.

There are a number of holidays for which Genesis produces multi-participant community events.

The purpose of the events is to mark the holidays in a community setting also for families who do not participate in the program.
