Corona Policies and Guidelines - Genesis School

Below is the Corona policy of the Genesis School. These guidelines are updated for January 11, 2022

Please note - the policy may vary depending on the illness.

We are in touch with the local authorities and will update you on any changes that apply.

The policy applies to both vaccinated and non-vaccinated.

• A health declaration must be completed prior to arrival at the activity

• Masks - Students (and staff) must wear a mask during each activity, and throughout the lesson

​​

• Arriving at classes - We ask that you do not send your child to class in the following cases:

  • The student experiences corona symptoms (such as fever, cough or weakness)

  • If your children have been exposed to a verified patient

  • One member of the household discovers suspicious symptoms

  • A verified family member is in your home

In each of these cases we must be notified by email . We will examine on a case by case basis and guide the parents regarding returning to school accordingly.  

• In case of exposure to a verified patient, return will be possible after seven days with a negative PCR test after five days from the date of exposure (excluding the day of exposure itself)

• In case of infection of a student in Corona - the school must be notified . Return to school will be possible after ten days from the date of onset of symptoms. If there are no symptoms - ten days from the date of the positive test.  

• Genesis School Exposure - In the event of children being exposed to a verified patient at the school, we will notify the relevant students and the relevant class as soon as possible. Back to Genesis school will be possible in accordance with the guidelines outlined above.

• In the case of domestic travel and international travel - the student's return to school will be allowed after seven days upon presentation of a negative PCR test done after at least five days from the date of return.

We ask all of us to show social responsibility and of course to follow the guidelines devoutly.

Together we can take care to reduce the number of days of isolation and exposure of our children.
